Have you been or are you exposed to violence or abuse from a partner or family?
Leaving abuse is a difficult decision. Where will you go? What about your children? What will happen to all of your possessions? What kind of help is there? Will they understand your situation?

At the Women's Shelter you will get help. Please contact us and we will help you to find a solution. You can call for an appointment or receive information about our programmes.

The shelter is a temporary and safe residential facility for women or men, and their children, who have been exposed to violence and need protection. You can stay at the shelter for a short period. We have one residence for women and one residence for men.

We also offer day service to women or men who have been or are exposed to violence but who are not living at the Women's Shelter. You can get advice and guidance, someone to talk to, or help with various practical tasks.

We can offer:
  • A temporary and safe residence
  • Advice and guidance
  • Free legal counsel
  • Help to contact a lawyer
